We had another productive day at Prayers and Squares yesterday. Tammy brought in another finished quilt top. When she first started coming out to our group, she was a newbie quilter. Now, she is cranking out a quilt a week. She looks over the fabrics on our shelves, picks a combination she likes, takes them home and a week later brings in a finished top.
Diane took home these Bricks and Stepping Stones blocks last week and brought back a finished top.
During the summer of 2025, the members of our group did a bit of a challenge where we each picked a block pattern used the same red print fabric and made a block for a sampler quilt. Barbara is working on putting it together.
Here at home I finished the appliqué portion of the loon block for next year’s fundraiser.
It is a variation of a McKenna Ryan design. And also here at home I’ve been working on finishing the borders on the centre mystery square.
I need to add the dark brown triangle border to the top and then it too can be added to our ever growing pile of quilt tops for our Prayers and Squares group. Hopefully I can get that done today. I’ll link up to finished, or not, Friday.

I love reading all your comments, and am grateful for each one. I try very hard to answer them all, but lately I haven’t quite been able to answer all of them.
