Slow Sunday Stitching

I’ve made quite a lot of progress on the Raccoon for the Year in the Woods piece this past week. All the greenery is finished and all the pink flowers are stitched in place. Some of those still need the finishing details and the top left flower needs its brown stem. I have finally started on the body of the raccoon. In addition to this, I did a little hand sewing  on some buttons. Our grand-daughter is having a birthday next week and is having a cowgirl themed birthday party. So I’ve decided to make her some cowgirl themed doll clothes for her 18 inch doll. I found a great McCalls pattern that was available as a PDF download. I have finished the fringe jacket and am ready to start the hat. Unfortunately the pattern front does not show the jacket. We were able to make a quick trip down to the Fabricland last week and I picked up a half meter of fabric for the jacket and another half meter of denim for the pants. This is going to be my focus for the next week, getting all these clothes done.

I’ll link up to Kathy’s Slow Sunday Stitching

I love reading all your comments, and am grateful for each one. I try very hard to answer them all, but lately I haven’t quite been able to answer all of them.
