What We Are Working On

 We had all 11 members of our Prayers and Squares group present yesterday. What a great time we had. And every single flat surface in the room was covered with something quilt related, including even part of the floor. Barbara had her charm square quilt laid out on the floor looking for a balance of colour. I think she may be one of only 2 or 3 of us able to get down on the floor and then able to get back up again. Sharon has been working on a 3 yard quilt. It is now finished and layered and ready for quilting. Tammy continues to work on her sampler. I finally finished the basket blocks I’ve been working on in between other projects and laid them all out. It should be ready for borders sometime in the next couple of weeks. Here at home I’m working on wonky log cabin blocks. I have 26 out of 42 finished. It hasn’t even begun to put a dent into the box full of 1 1/2 inch strips. I think there may be more log cabin quilts in my future this fall and winter. I’ll link up to finished, or not, Friday
