My design wall has a couple of things on it. My progress so far on My Tweets and my progress so far On Bear Tracks.
And then, no post right now would be complete without a picture of the reason why there hasn't been any recent design walls, or much quilting going on. Our beautiful, adorable grandson Avery. This is going to one of the last current pictures I have of him, unless his Mom and Dad take pity on me and send some down. We don't know, right now, when we are going to be able to go back and see them again. I miss him so much already, and we just left them on Friday. He'll have changed so much by the time we get to see them again. (sigh)
If you want to see other inspirational design walls, pop on over to Judy's Patchwork Times There is always lots to see there.
Gorgeous quilts. I have iris blooms, lilacs are finishing and the pinks are coming on. Sigh, if I could only get the 6 dogs that adjoin my yard to STOP BARKING I may be able to enjoy the garden. Blah, the joys of living in town. :l
ReplyDeleteLove your scrappy bear tracks. What a great quilt. Wonderful picture of Avery too. Hope they send you lots more pictures.
ReplyDeleteI knew that baby was the reason you had been "missing". Congratulations. Yes, he will change so much with every day that first year. You have many hockey and soccer games ahead of you. Enjoy any of the moments you have with him. Oh yes, I missed seeing your beauitful quilts too.
ReplyDeleteI just love how perfect Avery's skin looks...you never forget how soft babies feel. The My Tweets looks great...Erin almost pulled me into that one with all her great tutorials...two other hand quilting projects stopped me from starting hers.
ReplyDeleteI guess I can appreciate the slow progress on your quilts when I look at Avery. He is so cute!
ReplyDeleteYour Tweets are marvelous but my very favorite quilt block is Bear's Paw. What a great quilt! BTW, mu 25 year old daughter's name is Avery! she never had to give her last name because there were no others all the way through school. It's certainly become a popular name recently!
ReplyDeleteYour Bear Tracks Quilt is looking so good! I enjoy following along as this quilt takes shape. Avery is looking good too, love those cheeks; you just want to kiss them all over. jmniffer
ReplyDeleteMy Tweets is looking lovely, but I love Bear Tracks...Avery is adorable.
ReplyDeleteYour My Tweets blocks are awesome, and I love the colors in your Bear Tracks. Best of all is your grandson. You have the best excuse of all for not getting any quilting done.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilts and adorable, beautiful baby. I am ready for grandchildren but my children aren't quite yet.
