Sunday Stash and Stitching, week 34

I haven't done a stash report since the beginning of August. I have been doing some sewing since then, and some hand stitching too. However, I've also been doing some shopping. I think I'll focus on the good part, first.... the stitching.

This is my most recent finish. This one takes me up and around the top left corner. I'm on the home stretch! Here's a close up of it in place. And here's a picture of where I am so far. I'm ready to start the next rosette over. Nine more to go, I think.
Like I said earlier, I had some fun shopping this month, and my in numbers show it, just a bit. These numbers go back to the beginning of August.

Used this month:                3 yards
Used this year:                  51.9 yards
Added this month:            10.5 yards
Added this year:               86.25 yards
Net stash added:               34.35 yards
Oh dear, that's a lot worse than I thought it was. Oh well, the stash needed refreshing. LOL! I was thinking that finishing a few quilts and a couple of backs would put me back in the black, but I think it's beyond that now. Ah well, it's been fun!
I'm linking up to Judy's Fabric Report, Kathy's Slow Sunday Stitching and Angie's WIPs Be Gone. Then I think I'll start work on the next rosette.

  1. You are in very deep! It will take a lot of sewing to get out of the red, but I think you are up for it !! Nice colourful project!

  2. Your rosettes are so pretty! And don't feel bad about a little refresh - we all need some new fabric from time to time!

I love reading all your comments, and am grateful for each one. I try very hard to answer them all, but lately I haven’t quite been able to answer all of them.
