And I'm sure I'm not the only one. I was useless yesterday. My brain was mush, and filled with fog, and my body refused to do anything but veg. I was exhausted. And to top it off, once I gladly hit my bed last night, I couldn't sleep. It was past 4 am before I finally fell asleep. Grrrrr....... I had a migraine, that despite taking Advil, and 2 of my Maxalts, simply would not go away, which was a large part of being awake until 4 am. But I am glad to say it was gone when I woke up. I love having that extra hour of daylight at the end of the day, but there sure is a high price to pay for it.
On the good side, while I was sitting and watching TV yesterday, (I revisited the movie "The Colour Purple"), I got a lot done on Matt's stocking. It is now well over halfway done.
I think the next steps involve the golf bag and clubs, which will be time consuming, great stuff to do for those blah, and can't move or do anything else days. I am really hoping today won't be one of those. I have lots of stuff I want, and need to get done. Maybe if I have another coffee. Even though I didn't get to sleep till past 4, I managed to sleep until 12:30, so did eventually get my 8 hours, but that sure does eat up the usable part of the day. Anyway, maybe I'll take it easy for today as well, and just work on New York Beauties, and simple sampler blocks. Yep, that sounds like a plan. I'll have to see if I can actually do it. LOL
I had a few rare minutes to sit at the computer...I did a quick check to see which blogs I could quickly check out and it was so fun to see your stocking! I've only had time to work on stockings a little in the evening too. I totally agree about the switch on the clock being difficult to adjust to...gotta run!
ReplyDeleteI forgot to set the clock in the sewing room so dinner is an hour late tonight. Whoopsie! Time change messes with most of us. Sorry about the migraine. Not fun! Hope that's gone. Nothing like sitting and tv sometimes. I plan to do that tonight. :))
ReplyDeleteThe stocking is adorable!
Love your stocking. I'm planning to make some new stockings for this year. I hadn't thought about applique.
ReplyDeleteCathy, this stocking is coming along beautifully!! It is so stinking cute!! I'm sorry you were battling a migraine ... I know that's NO fun. I hope you had a restful night and have a GREAT day today!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThe stocking is just adorable - perfect little project to work on when a little 'under the weather'.
