I spent part of yesterday, and then this evening working on my Rainbow scrap challenge pink
pinwheel blocks. I decided to do both of them at the same time, rather
than one this week and another next weekend. There's a sew-in day for
the guild next Saturday, and I didn't want to spend it doing one of
these. So, my pinks are done for the month. I'm having a hard time believing that February is half over already, more than half, really. I've done very little with my UFO for the month, which is the other reason I wanted to get these done. Now I can focus on working on that.

I like the three different sizes of pinwheels in your block and the green that partially frames each. This should be quite a dramatic quilt.
ReplyDeleteOh these are really charming, Cathy! I like the pink with the green borders and splashes of purple in the top block! Where they easier to construct this go'round? :)
ReplyDeleteI like all the different pinwheel blocks and sizes.
ReplyDeleteWhat cute blocks. Love the pinks, greens and purples.
ReplyDeleteGood for you getting all those pinks done already - it's only the 15th!!! They look great.
ReplyDeleteLovely pink pinwheels. I love the combination of different sizes.
ReplyDeleteLove the pin wheels. I think pink and green together are my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThis idea is working really well in these blocks! Plus, working with those bright colours in this seemingly endless winter must be giving you a psychological boost!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful fresh spring-like blocks, they would have to make anyone feel cheerful.
ReplyDeleteGlad you were able to cross those pink blocks off your "to do" list before your retreat. Have fun.
