I didn’t get as much done this week on the very cute and non-smelly skunk as I’d hoped. I’m trying to get myself some clothes made so a lot of my slow stitching time was taken up with hems and buttons. I’m trying to replace the pants I made 3 or 4 years ago that are now getting very thin. My goal was 4 pairs of pants. I have 3 pairs finished and another almost there. I’m also doing some shirts and would like to do a dress, but time will tell if the dress gets done. The shirts are next after the pants are finished. If you are wondering, I buy my patterns mostly from a website called Love Notions. They have PDF patterns to print at home. I’ve been doing the Bridget trousers and the Bluegrass Shirt. I don’t find sewing my own clothes any more economical than buying in the stores, but I do find that I am able to get the clothes to fit properly doing them myself. I did get some done on the skunk though. A little more of the bottom of the body is now filled in. I’ll do a bit more on it this afternoon. I’ll link up to Kathy’s Slow Sunday Stitching.

I love reading all your comments, and am grateful for each one. I try very hard to answer them all, but lately I haven’t quite been able to answer all of them.
