I skipped doing a post about our Prayers and Squares progress last week since I didn’t get any pictures taken. I’m not sure what I was doing or why I didn’t get pictures. Anyhow, this week I remembered to get up and get pictures. I even grabbed the pile of sampler blocks Marg has been working on and spread them out to take their picture. They are 10 inch blocks using up scraps. They are gorgeous. She’s planning on 20 blocks set 4 x 5 done quilt as you go style. Janet has also been working on a sampler.
Hers are 12 inch blocks and she is trying the quilt as you go technique for the first time. Here’s a close up of one of the blocks.
Tammy has started a new quilt using some 4 1/2 inch strips that were in a bag. She’s doing a block from the Quilter’s Cache website called Tam’s Patch.
The fabrics are gorgeous. I’m looking forward to watching this one grow. I’ve been working on some sets of stars while at P&S.
There are 7 more sets to make. They are all cut and waiting to be sewn together. Here at home I’ve been working on pinwheels. I love patterns that blur the edges between the blocks.
One more block to go and this one can be added to the to-be-layered pile. I’ll link up to finished, or not, Friday. Next Thursday just might be declared a layering day.

I love reading all your comments, and am grateful for each one. I try very hard to answer them all, but lately I haven’t quite been able to answer all of them.
