Obviously, my arithmetic skills were a bit challenged, when I was figuring out that 9 one inch triangles would measure more than 9 inches across. If this is going to end up being a quilt of any size, there might have to be some re-figuring out done. I really like the way it looks, though, so I’ll keep at it, since it also has the bonus of using up the tiniest of scraps. Scrappy Purple slow Sunday stitching.
I had planned to write this up yesterday, to post along with all the Saturday scrappers. However, as usual in my life, other things got in the way. Our darling grand daughter passed another cold bug to us, and there’s a sinus infection brewing in my head. Not too terribly pleasant. So, instead of writing up a post yesterday, I crashed. However, I still managed to get some hand stitching in. Somehow, I had it in my head that this was going to end up bigger.

Leave it to you to use up those small scraps to make something so pretty. Hope you are feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful block, requiring lots of precision. Who could do that with a miserable cold? Can't wait to see the finish. Hope you have a better week.
ReplyDeleteYour purple quilt is absolutely wonderful. That will be an amazing accomplishment when finished. I don't know how you can do such tedious work with a head cold. Sure hope you are feeling better very soon.
