I made progress on both hand stitching projects this week. I have one sock finished, and the second started with about an inch of ribbing done. Our Prayers and Squares group went on a shopping trip last Thursday and so I was able to get in knitting time during the drive. And my skunk cross stitch for The Year in the Woods now has a face.
I continue to enjoy doing these and seeing the textures in the designs. I know I said last week that I was going to keep on with the black until it was done, but I couldn’t do it. I’m also noticing that the white on the skunk’s head is not really showing up against the linen. I may need to do a small amount of back stitch to define it. I’ll decide for sure once the whole thing is done. I’ll link up to Kathy’s Slow Sunday Stitching.

I love reading all your comments, and am grateful for each one. I try very hard to answer them all, but lately I haven’t quite been able to answer all of them.
