Slow Sunday Scrappy Stitching
I have a very bad case of quilters EPPing A.D.D. I’ve been watching one particular quilt on Kathy’s link up for quite some time. It’s shown here. She had a link to the designer’s blog last week, and I made the huge mistake of clicking on it. Little did I know that it’s a free pattern, done in instalments on Grit’s Life. I’ve been dithering back and forth all week about starting yet another EPP project. After all, I have my Rainbow triangles, my jewels for Creme Brûlée, new ones this week and then the full collection, so far, and the Rainbow Stars as well. The rainbow stars are out visiting at a quilt shop, so I don’t have pictures of them. But, as the borg in Star Trek say, resistance is futile. I went diving through my 1 1/2 inch scraps to find teal and yellow and red, since those are the colours I’d like to use. This is what I have, so far. There is a showing of the full first season of “Victoria” on PBS starting at 4 pm this afternoon, going through until tonight. So this will be my TV busy work for tonight. I’m linking up to Kathy’s Slow Sunday Stitching, and then I’m going back to playing with my hexagons.

Your EPP pieces are excellent. Love the fussy placement that you accomplished. I shall take heed to your warning about the EPP link as I have another quilt to get caught up. Certainly, a peek would not hurt.....ReplyDelete
Yey, there's always room for another EPP project. I hope that you start this one, it's so beautiful. Please tell me if you do, so I can join you in our Facebook group. there you will find tons of inspiration.ReplyDelete

You have a serious EPP addiction. I don't know of any cure, except more EPP. Nice projects! Looking forward to watching them grow.ReplyDelete
Lovely! I like your fussy cut hexies, and those teal triangles are so cheerful!ReplyDelete
Oh my goodness that is so exciting! Resistance is futile absolutely!ReplyDelete
So excited that you started this project and I can't wait to see it grow!
You're absolutely sure you don't want to add the Raspberry Kiss blocks to your UFO pile? HAHA! These are FABULOUS EPP projects! and having only one project on the go at one time is just too boring...ReplyDelete
