We had another wonderful productive day at our Prayers and Squares group yesterday. Pat finished the Disappearing Nine patch she was making. It already has a recipient. We layered it yesterday and I brought it home to get the quilting done. We finished another of the beautiful animal panels and it is now hanging up in the fellowship hall.
Marcia finished a second top made out of kits that were donated.
The original kit was a sampler with some setting squares in between. She took the setting squares and added a couple more pieced squares to be able to make this second quilt from the kit. And we now have 6 blocks for our Prayers and Squares members challenge.
Here at home I’ve been working on some log cabin blocks, using up some of the 1 1/2 inch strips out of an overflowing box of them.
I have a couple of quilts now to do the quilting on and then I’ll get back to these log cabins. I have 10 blocks finished and 8 more in progress. I need a total of 42 blocks to get it to our Prayers and Squares lap quilt size. I’ll link up to finished, or not, Friday

Looks like a very successful Prayers and Squares meeting. A few finishes and some great starts.
